After much research and positive reviews I ordered the Aviditi ZB-10 Small Table Top Ice Maker I'm delighted and disappointed at the same time.Pros:It makes ICEIt makes ICE fast (within 8 minutes for small ice cubes as stated in manual)Front panel is simple and intuitiveCons:3 different types of packaging filler was used, paper, foam "popcorn" and air bags. Foam "popcorn" made a mess.After rummaging through the box looking for the manual I finally realized that it was inside the ice maker.Absolutely NO BRAND IDENTIFICATION. Aviditi does not appear anywhere on the unit as shown in the photo online. Aviditi name / logo does not appear anywhere not even on the serial number label nor the product manual. How do I know this is a "real" Aviditi? It only says "made in China"... could this be a "knockoff" of the Aviditi which is made in China?Manual / Documentation is POOR. The manual was written by someone whose primary language is obviously not English.Quality:The Aviditi does not look nearly as good as the picture in the ad.The feel and look of the plastic is "cheap", more like a toy than an ice maker.Inspecting the plastic closer it is easy to see that the tooling for the manufacture of this product was not well maintained due to the excessive "flash" left on several of the parts (Flash: When two halves of a mold come together, the sides of the cavities must press together tight enough that no molten plastic leaks out of the cavity, resulting in a thin layer of plastic protruding from the part called flash. The plastic injection molding press must have enough tonnage, and the mold must be properly built and maintained to avoid this problem). I had to trim flash off the cover and several of the interior pieces to remove these excess pieces of plastic before they "chipped" off which could result in pieces of plastic in the ice cubes and/or clogging of the pump.This product is obviously NOT well insulated as the ice cubes melt inside the unit almost as fast as they are made.Last but not least once the water fills the ice cube molds the COMPRESSOR in the ICE Maker kicks in and it sounds like you're standing on a runway while a Boeing 747 revs up its engines for takeoff. Using a calibrated sound meter the noise from the Aviditi ZB-10 Ice Maker registered a whopping 75 decibels (60-65 decibels is normal talking volume).Update 8/12/2012Addition information per requestes:Approximate Dimensions H 13.5" x W 12" x D 14.5"Weight is about 30 poundsCompressor Noise: 75db at approx. 12" (Equal to Busy Traffic or a Phone Ringtone)Summary:Would not recommend this product. The only reason I gave it a 2 is because it does make ice Cubes in 8 minutes.

We've been using this ice maker almost daily since Christmas day and have not had a problem with it. It seems that there are no difference in the sixe of the ice cubes, but if you put it on the smallest setting, it makes them quicker.
