I will write the pros and cons:Pros:Makes 7 ice cubes per 7 minutes.Quiet.Easy to fill with water, and easy to retrieve ice cubes.Auto-stop when the basket is filled with ice. Stops when out of water.Cons:There is a drainage spout on the underside-bottom. Its kind of awkward to reach. I have to put the ice machine over the sink to drain unwanted leftover water. The plug for the drain hole rubbery plastic. If it ever breaks ill have to find some way to replace it or the machine will not work right.After making a full basket of ice 3 times a day for 5 days, the melted ice water still has a strange taste. It may stop over time, I don't know.The ice cubes are small even on the L(arge) setting. They are hollow and thimble shaped. Melt quickly and are on the small side.I've listed more cons than pros but this machine is good if you realize this is a commercial home unit and not a grocery store / industrial machine. If I want ice I just pour some water in the machine and turn it on. In 7 minutes I get 7 rather small hollow little ice cubes. BUT it keeps making them, and dumping them into the little basket. I just keep adding more ice as my drink needs it. I like this machine a lot. At first I was sad I didnt get a huge bucket of giant icecubes instantly. Once I accepted the fact this machine will not do that, it grew on me and I like it a lot!Its the size of a smaller desktop pc or "tower" pc. It has a fan on the right side so you have to have space on your counter where that fan can blow free and unobstructed, about 7 inchs or so.

20+ lbs of ice in less than 24 hours - need I say more? Just keep it full of water and have a place in the freezer to put the ice. I may just have to turn it off. Too much ice!!! It's a good thing!

I was a little sceptical when I decided to purchase this item, but I have thoroughly enjoyed it since. It makes plenty of ice, and I do use alot of ice, so there has been no need to run to the store to buy a bag. I normally make enough to fill the gallon-sized zipper-lock bags, and store them in the freezer. The ice is very pleasant tasting. I always make the large cubes, so I can't comment on the smaller size. I highly reccommend this product for any ice hoarder out there.
