Whirlpool Junk!

DO NOT buy Whirlpool Gold appliances! We remodeled our kitchen and bought Whirlpool Gold stovetop, oven & microwave combo wall unit. That was last year, and we are going to replace it all. Oven will not maintain a constant temperature. We followed instructions for adjusting temps but it still will not heat to a set temp. The cook top, beeps, flashes every time you damp wipe the surface. Sometimes when you wipe it the childproof lock kicks in and then when you use it later, it's a struggle to figure out why the burners will not start. Two burners have heat zone sizes and only one of those still works after only two years. The microwave is useful only for heating water. It WILL NOT do popcorn! After several attempts, at various settings, I gave up. Now when I want popcorn I go out to the garage and use my old LG unit. We paid a lot for this junk and will not make the Whirlpool mistake again.

I bought a very expensive home with a five year old "top of the line" Whirlpool Gold double oven. The control panel burns out. By design (look at all the internet complaints). It's a $600 repair. Whirlpool is aware but will do nothing to correct. I will never buy another of their products.

Low Quality Products, Negligent Customer Service

My oven is 6 years old and it just died weeks before Christmas and we are hosting! The culprit is a widely reported issue with the Control Board failing and Whirlpool will do nothing about it. Whats more, there are issues with the replacement part available as it is not compatible with the unit. I will never buy another Whirlpool product again. I'm now off to drop 2 thousand dollars on a new wall double oven, but before I do that I am joining a lawsuit here: [...]
