I ordered the range hood after installing new cabinets. There was quite a bit of work for installation because of the cutting required in the new cabinets - Mounting the range hood and installing it turned out to be very simple.Overall I am happy with the range hood. However I have to document something for the benefit of other buyers:This product did not come with a power cord - You will have to buy it separately if required (Search for: Broan Power Cord Kit for Range Hoods). It would be nice if the power cord kit was listed under the accessories for this product.

I'm only getting a new hoodfan because I upgraded the look of my other appliances to stainless steel and couldn't get the one I wanted from Best Buy. The good: cheap price, fast delivery,the high fan isn't too loudThe bad: at the top it's only 29 3/4 inches long and the bottom is 29.5 so I have gaps. It looks cheap, it's flimsy and the shape is old school- I cut myself on it because of the edges. I miss the design of my 5 year old one. The low fan is loud. Does it do the job? Sure but I wished I would have gotten better quality.

A little loud but other than that its great. Looks nice with my appliances so I'm happy with it. It's a great bargain for the price and shipping was very fast.
